2026 Summer Watercolor Workshop Home Sweet Home – Hong Kong

Class 1

Watercolor journey begins

Familiarise with basic tools and skills ( eg. Wet in dry / wet on wet; layering )

Themes students can choose:

1. Food in HK

Learn to form basic shapes + water control
Recognise diversity of food and culture of this international city

2. Animals in HK

Animal form + facial expression + simple storytelling
Learn about Hong Kong’s unique and native species

3. Landscape in HK

Learn basic perspective, drawing transparent overlay to create depth and near-and-far effect of buildings
Learn about unique architecture and heritage in HK

4. Festivals in HK

Holiday colors matching + special techniques (salt, scratch art)
Learn about different special fest celebration in HK for example lion dance during CNY

5. Creative future of HK

Allow students to spread creativity and comprehend the techniques they have learned
For example to create an imaginary new building in HK; New HK fairy Tale

Course Fee: HK$2,142 for 6 x 1.5 hour sessions. Include all art materials.

We provide art workshops for after-school programs and private clubhouse programs.
